Your Timeline file

Your file is read by JavaScript running in your browser. It is not uploaded to us or to anyone. The trips, places, dates and your classification are kept on your device only, in your browser's storage, so your work survives the payment page. "Use another file" clears it.

Client list lookup (optional)

If you import a client list whose rows have addresses but no coordinates, and you agree to look them up, those addresses are sent to OpenStreetMap's public geocoding service (Nominatim) to find where they are. Nothing else is sent: not your trips, not your Timeline. Lists with coordinates are matched on your device.

Payment

Payment is handled by Stripe. Stripe receives your email, your payment details and the tax year you bought; it never receives your trips. We receive from Stripe the confirmation of payment and your email, which we use to answer you and to handle refunds.

Usage statistics

If enabled, the site measures its own use with PostHog: pages viewed and steps of the tool (file opened, log unlocked), with counts and size ranges only. No cookie is set; a temporary identifier lives in your tab and disappears when you close it. Anything that comes from your file is excluded from measurement and masked in session replays.
