About TimelineMileage

Martin Ferret

Developer, builds TimelineMileage

Why TimelineMileage exists

Most people who drive for their business know they should keep a mileage log, and most of them realize at tax time that they did not. Meanwhile, their phone recorded every drive. TimelineMileage turns that recorded history into the log, so the work of a year is a matter of minutes, and nobody has to invent anything.

Why your file never leaves your browser

A Timeline export is a record of everywhere you have been. I did not want to hold that data, and you should not have to trust me with it. The whole tool runs in your browser: the file is read there, the log is built there, the PDF is made there. The only thing that goes through a server is the payment, handled by Stripe.

Who I am

A software developer who builds privacy-first tools for personal data. I am not a tax professional: the log is a record, your tax professional decides what to claim.
